Arts Integration

Ken Ferree: Ken Ferree holds an MS in Education Media Design and Technology from Full Sail University, a BS in the Arts from Empire State College (SUNY), and is currently a professor at Empire State College (SUNY)’s Niagara Frontier Center in western New York. He has initiated new courses and upgraded other courses offered to meet today’s technological demands as expressed by the adult learners attending this campus. Ken has written curriculum and implemented courses in Web 2.0 tools, Adobe CS4 and CS5, Visual Multimedia Storytelling, Video Production, Social Media and Business, Instructional Design, Developing the Digital Portfolio, Business Productivity Tools: PowerPoint, Social Media Marketing, and Principles of Filmmaking to help align the college with 21st century media integration. Ken has also been a member of the NCCC eLearning staff, holding the position of Learning Technology Integration Specialist, whereby he assisted faculty in implementing pedagogically sound, hybrid and online courses.
